SKILL DEVELOPMENT

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

Our experience of working with youth in rural India has taught us one thing and that is” education leading to gainful employment is education otherwise it’s a waste of a resource”. As 12th Five Year Plan is focused on skills and placements, we clearly see it as a great policy shift and our mandate is to contribute as much as possible to Govt. of India’s target of training and placing 500 million youth by 2022. We are currently running 8 training centers in J&K and Delhi, Manipur. We have done Govt projects and also CSR projects. Here are a few of the program we do:

HUNAR: Empowerring women through skills development

Hunar is a CSR initiative by Sambbhava Foundation and we are the PIA for this project.

In any development and sustainable activity, the gender Integration needs to be taken into account. It’s not only the right thing to do, but also the smart thing in determining equality in development outcomes. Bunyaad Foundation is committed to strengthening women’s presence and rights by working towards making them economical, socially and politically more strong.

Our work involves counseling for women, promoting women empowerment and women entrepreneurship, dismantling gender difference at work place, opening the fields of male-dominated sectors to women and so on. We also further take initiatives of designing drafts for organizations on Gender Integration Guidelines.

We have trained more than 200 girls in retail sector and placed them with brands like Vishal Megamart, Pizza Hut, Reliance Fresh, MORE, etc. We are currently training around 150 more girls from Madanpur Khadar, Chawri Bazar, Chhatarpur, Badarpur, Sarai kalekhan etc.
